AIIMS Gorakhpur, an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, is inviting applications for 56 faculty posts across the medical departments.

Vacancies

• Professor – 16 posts
• Additional Professor – 5 posts
• Associate Professor – 18 posts
• Assistant Professor – 17 posts

Eligibility

Minimum qualification: MBBS + MD/MS (or DM/MCh for super‑speciality). Required teaching experience: 14 years for Professor, 10 years for Additional Professor, 6 years for Associate Professor, 3 years for Assistant Professor. Age limits as of 14 Nov 2026: 58 years for Professor/Additional Professor, 50 years for Associate/Assistant Professor (with applicable relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).

Application Fee

₹2,000 per post for General/OBC/EWS; ₹500 per post for SC/ST. Fees are non‑refundable and must be paid for each post separately.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting of bio‑data
• Interview

1. Fill the online Google Form (link provided in the notice) and upload required documents.
2. Print the application, sign, and prepare the hard‑copy set (application printout, Annexure‑A, Annexure‑B, certificates, two passport photos).
3. Send the hard‑copy set by speed/registered post to the Recruitment Cell, AIIMS Gorakhpur, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur – 273008, before 14 Nov 2026.
4. Pay the application fee for each post as specified.
