Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is conducting the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-4) 2026 to fill 32,388 permanent teaching posts in primary, middle, secondary and senior secondary schools across Bihar.

Vacancies

• Primary Teacher (Class 1–5): 3,847 posts
• Middle School Teacher (Class 6–8): 8,563 posts
• Secondary Teacher (Class 9–10): 3,877 posts
• Senior Secondary Teacher (Class 11–12): 16,101 posts

Eligibility

• Age 18–37 years for Primary and Middle teachers; 21–37 years for Secondary and Senior Secondary teachers (as on 01 Aug 2026). Age relaxation as per Bihar rules.
• Minimum qualification: 12th + D.El.Ed / B.Ed / B.El.Ed for Primary; Graduate + D.El.Ed / B.Ed / B.El.Ed for Middle; Graduate in relevant subject + B.Ed / B.El.Ed for Secondary; Post‑Graduate in relevant subject + B.Ed / B.El.Ed for Senior Secondary.
• CTET/BTET Paper-I or II for Primary/Middle; STET Paper-I or II for Secondary/Senior Secondary.

2. Register with a valid mobile number and email ID.
3. Fill personal, educational, TET/STET and post/subject details.
4. Upload required photographs, signatures and certificates.
5. Pay ₹100 online, submit the form and print the acknowledgement.
