Central Railway is recruiting 2,861 apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for training in various workshops and units.

Vacancies

Total: 2,861 apprenticeship training slots across Mumbai, Bhusawal, Pune, Nagpur and Solapur clusters.

Eligibility

• Passed Class 10th with minimum 50% marks.
• Possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade.
• Age 15-24 years (UR), 15-29 (SC/ST), 15-27 (OBC) as of 3 November 2026, with applicable relaxations.

• Online application starts: 3 November 2026 (11:00 AM)
• Last date to apply: 2 December 2026 (5:00 PM)

Application Fee

General/OBC/EWS: ₹100; SC/ST, PwBD, Women: No fee.

Selection Process

• Merit list based on average of Class 10th and ITI marks.
• Document verification at chosen unit.
• No written exam or interview.
