The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is recruiting 1936 Assistant Professor posts in aided co‑education and women’s colleges across Uttar Pradesh.

Total: 1936 Assistant Professor posts.

Eligibility

• Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent) and NET/SLET/SET qualification, or a Ph.D. meeting specified conditions.
• Age limit: 62 years (as on 1 July 2026) for all candidates.

• Application start: 8 September 2026
• Last date to apply: 7 October 2026
• Correction window: 11 October 2026
• Written exam (tentative): 19 & 20 November 2026

Application Fee

₹2,000 for Unreserved/OBC/EWS, ₹1,500 for SC/ST, ₹1,000 for Divyang (PwBD).

• Written Examination – Objective type (360 marks)
• Interview – 40 marks
