India Post GDS is conducting the July 2026 engagement for Gramin Dak Sevak posts across all postal circles in India.

Total: 23,757 posts (BPM, ABPM, Dak Sevak).

Eligibility

• 10th standard pass with passing marks in Mathematics, English and local language up to 10th.
• Age 18 to 40 years as on last date of application (with relaxations for SC/ST +5 years, OBC +3 years, PwBD +10 years).

Important Dates

• One‑time registration: 31 August 2026 to 19 September 2026 (5:00 PM)
• Application & fee submission: 02 September 2026 to 21 September 2026 (5:00 PM)
• Correction window: 23 September 2026 to 24 September 2026 (5:00 PM)

Application Fee

₹100 for UR/OBC/EWS male candidates; exempt for female, SC, ST, PwBD and Transwomen.

Selection Process

• Merit list based on 10th standard marks (accuracy up to 4 decimal places)
• Document verification of shortlisted candidates

1. Visit the official GDS portal and complete one‑time registration using mobile number and email.
2. Fill in personal details, upload photograph and signature.
3. Enter 10th pass details, select postal circle and post preferences.
4. Upload scanned 10th certificate and other required documents.
5. Pay the application fee (if applicable) and submit the form; print the confirmation.
