The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the 2026 Junior Engineer (Mechanical) recruitment for 127 posts in the Public Works (R&B) Department.
Vacancies
Total vacancies: 127 (Open Merit 51, SC 10, ST-1 13, ST-2 13, OBC 13, ALC/IB 10, RBA 5, EWS 13).
Eligibility
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 years) or Degree/AMIE Section A&B from a recognised institute. Domicile of Jammu & Kashmir required. Age limits: 40 years for OM, 43 for SC/ST/OBC/RBA/ALC/IB/EWS, 42 for physically challenged; ex‑servicemen may deduct service period.
