The Jharkhand Home Defence Corps (Latehar) has announced 457 vacancies for Rural and Urban Home Guard volunteers.

Eligibility

• Age 19 to 40 years as of 1 January 2026.
• Rural Home Guard: Minimum Class 7 pass.
• Urban Home Guard: Minimum Class 10 pass.
• Must be a resident of Latehar district (block for Rural, urban area for Urban).

• Application end: 1 December 2026.
