NIC is hiring 376 Scientific/Technical Assistant-A posts across three disciplines: Computer Sciences & IT, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Data Science & AI.

Vacancies

Total: 376 posts (tentative). Discipline-wise: 300 in Computer Sciences & IT, 26 in Electronics & Communication Engineering, 50 in Data Science & AI.

Eligibility

• Valid GATE score (2024, 2025, or 2026) in the relevant paper code (CS, EC, or DA).
• Minimum qualification: M.Sc./MS/MCA/B.E./B.Tech. in a related field.
• Age limits: 30 years (UR/EWS), 35 years (SC/ST), 33 years (OBC NCL); PwBD up to 40 years.

• Cut‑off for eligibility: 30 September 2026

Application Fee

Selection Process

• Merit list based on GATE score (equal weightage for 2024‑2026 scores).
• Document verification for shortlisted candidates.
