SSC CHSL has opened the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2026 for about 2,536 Group C posts in Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant and Data Entry Operator positions across all ministries and departments.

Vacancies

Approx. 2,536 tentative posts – mainly LDC/JSA, with a smaller number of DEO and DEO Grade A seats.

Eligibility

• Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board.
• Science with Mathematics for DEO/DEO Grade A seats in specified ministries.
• Age 18–27 years (with relaxations for SC/ST, PwBD, women, ex‑servicemen and central government employees).

Important Dates

• Application window: 7 September 2026 – 7 October 2026 (11:00 PM).
• Fee payment deadline: 8 October 2026 (11:00 PM).
• Application correction: 14 October 2026 – 16 October 2026 (11:00 PM).

Application Fee

₹100 for most candidates; fee exemption for women, SC, ST, PwBD and eligible ex‑servicemen.

• Tier‑I Computer‑Based Test
• Tier‑II Computer‑Based Test
• Typing/DEST skill test
• Document verification

1. Visit ssc.gov.in and register for the 2026 CHSL exam.
2. Fill in the online application form and upload required documents.
3. Pay the application fee (or claim exemption).
4. Submit the application before 7 October 2026 11:00 PM.
