UPSC has announced 13 permanent Group A/B posts across four central organisations.

Vacancies

• 8 Assistant Legislative Counsel (Grade IV, ILS) – Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice
• 3 Law Officer – Land and Building Department, GNCTD, New Delhi
• 1 Junior Technical Officer (Sugar Technology) – National Sugar Institute, Kanpur
• 1 Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale) – Cardiology – New Delhi Municipal Council

Eligibility

• Assistant Legislative Counsel: LLB + 7 years judicial or LLM + 5 years teaching/research or qualified practitioner 30+ years
• Law Officer: LLB + 2 years legal work as practitioner or in government office
• Junior Technical Officer: B.Sc / B.E. / B.Tech + Sugar Technology associateship or PG Diploma + 3 years relevant experience
• Specialist Cardiology: MBBS (or recognised) + D.M. Cardiology + 3 years post‑PG experience
• Age as on 16 Oct 2026; see advertisement for specific limits
